Emerging from a love of beautiful home interiors and a need to share this passion, our story began when the first Shack store opened its doors on Sydney’s North Shore nearly 30 years ago. Since then Shack has grown, earning an enviable reputation for a dedication to customers, and to its furniture and homewares. Through careful sourcing from across the world, it has been made possible to achieve aesthetically pleasing, yet affordable interiors for Australian living.
Our curated collections are wide-ranging and timeless. You can shop by room or by collection. We design our exclusive pieces of solid mango hardwood furniture, which are then handmade in our own factory in Java, Indonesia. We oversee the entire process to ensure our exacting standards are kept. Our French Provincial and Antique Chinese collections are hand-picked and imported directly by us to keep costs as low as we can. We also have contemporary and Hamptons style furniture for less than you’d expect.
